Share on FacebookAnd let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. - Hebrews 10:24-25
We believe that the Christian life is supposed to be lived with other Christians, affirming one another, worshiping together, serving together, and learning together. The Bible commands us to meet together, and that doesn't just mean on Sundays and Fridays.
Our prayer and goal is that every member of Crusade be in a Community Group. The Bible clearly demonstrates that the early church met in small groups, worshipping together, eating together, and doing life together. The Bible also clearly commands several things that are best done (and probably meant to be done) in small groups, including various forms of ministry.
Real Life, our weekly large group meeting, is every Friday night. We meet at 7:30pm in Goldwin Smith HEC Auditorium (the big room in the middle of the first floor) every Friday evening while Cornell is in session. Come stop by and join us for a time of learning about and worshiping the living God. The first few weeks we will be meeting on North Campus instead of in Goldwin Smith:
8/29, 9/6 - RPCC Auditorium
9/12, 9/19 - Appel Multipurpose Room
9/26 - Fall Retreat
After That: Goldwin Smith HEC Auditorium

Last year, kids in Cru helped out at Loaves & Fishes, a local soup kitchen as well as Reconstruction Home, a medical rehabilitation facility. Be on the lookout for emails and announcements at Real Life on how you can get involved.
Evangelism is part of the very fabric of who we (as Christians, and as Crusade) are. A group of students go out every Saturday afternoon doing cold contact EV across campus. We design our Real Life meetings to be impactful to Christians and nonchristians alike, presenting the Gospel and calling sinners (that is, both Christians and nonchristians) to repentance.
Every summer Cru students go on missions trips across the country and across the world with various missions organizations. The first few weeks of the semester, you'll be hearing from some of our students who spent the summer in East Asia. Later in the Fall we will distribute information on how to apply for these trips and how to raise money for them.
We also go on a missions trip every Spring Break - Spring 2006 we spent gutting houses in New Orleans, Spring 2007 we spent working with nonprofit agencies here in Ithaca, NY, and Spring 2008 we went to inner city Philedelphia to do homeless outreach, Vacation Bible School, and construction. More info on this will also be available towards the end of the Fall.
