When Jesus walked on the earth, 2000 years ago, he gave us two simple commands: love God and love others. We exist as a community seeking to do just that - we learn about God so we can love him for who he really is and love others by showing them who God really is.
We're a group of (mostly) students who happen to call Cornell and/or Ithaca home for 4 or 3 (or 5 or 6) years of our lives. Most, but not all, of us are Cornell students. Most, but not all, of us are undergraduates. We come from a variety of different religious backgrounds but are united in Jesus and the truth about who he is and what he has done. We come from a variety of different racial, family, and socio-economic backgrounds, but we are united by a Jesus who is big enough and satisfying enough and powerful enough to meet all of our diverse problems and needs.
In Crusade you'll find kids from every school at Cornell, from every year, and from every campus region (and many dorms). You'll find many different races represented. And for the sake of completeness, yes, we have both guys and girls.
So, whoever you are, wherever you're from, whatever you do, you're welcome to join us. Come check out one of our Community Groups or come to our weekly large group meeting - Real Life. Or maybe just shoot us an email and ask us some questions - we'd love to hear from you!
